Home, my Place in the World, photography exhibition 2013 Great night at the Wandsworth Museum for the grand opening of Home, my Place in the World. Over 50 striking images are featured in this first-ever exhibition of award entries, created by photographers worldwide. Winner of the 2013 edition is Menno Aden from Berlin. The exhibition explores how the concept of home is evolving as migrants worldwide seek better living conditions. Photographers from the international scene attended the grand opening. Special guests included Clarissa Azkoul, Head of Mission, Chief Inspector Nick Sumner from Scotland's Yard Human Trafficking Unit, Ruth Rouse, High Commissioner from Grenada, Adrian Knowles, Mayor of Wandsworth and philanthropist Nancy Dell'Olio.

THE SHIP VLORA - we must never forget. In 1991 a human cargo carrying some 20000 Albanian Migrants docked in the port of Bari, Italy. Those that managed to remain in Italy built a new life, made many friends.The story of Kledi Kadiu who went to become a much loved international star, is one of several wonderful people whose success story of encouragement to many.
